All Saints Church
Services are at 8am and 10am on the 4th Sunday in the month.
Built in 1863, All Saints replaced an old Saxon Church, it cost £4,500 to build in those days!
The Diocese of Oxford has recently introduced new regulations relating to the up keep of churchyards, all parishioners, not just those closely associated with the Church, have a right to be buried in the churchyard of their parish church.
Our Village Churchyards.
The new regulations cover such items as tombstones -
Our Village Churchyards are an important part of our communities. The Parochial Church Councils and the Vicar take care to ensure that they are well maintained. All parishioners, that is anyone who resides in our villages, have a right to be buried in the churchyard of their parish church.

Many families like to remember their loved ones by placing flowers and other floral tributes on their graves and these help the churchyards to remain places of beauty and tranquillity.
However some Churches in the Diocese of Oxford have experienced problems with flowers and as a result have recently updated the rules relating to all floral tributes. Our Churchwardens would like to ensure people are aware of these:
Remembrance Day wreaths or poppies, or Christmas wreaths will need to be removed after a month.
Silk flowers, appropriate to the season, e.g. daffodils from February to April. These need to be removed when they become faded or bedraggled.
Other rules apply to graves for children but please do ask if in doubt.
The Churchwardens and the Vicar are very keen that our Churchyards will continue to be attractive resting places for former parishioners and that families will continue to provide flowers and other floral tributes.
Recorded on 4th November 2007.
